Description
The operator mounts one end of the sample into the fixed clamp and inserts the other one into the adjustable clamp. The oscilloscope produces a resonance with a frequency of 25 Hz. The operator now adjusts the moveable clamp in order to reach the highest possible sample amplitude. The distance between the clamps is reported as resonance length.
