Our History

We manufacture precision, British designed Medical Heat Sealers and Testing Equipment that meets the diverse needs of industrial companies worldwide. Established in 1985, we initially focused on measuring Heat Seal characteristics, but soon expanded our offerings to include a range of over 100 testing instruments and production machines.

Our Brands

RDM Test provides equipment solutions for physical testing of flexible materials and packages such as plastic film, paper, pulp, biomaterials, non-wovens, sheets, rolls, pouches, packs, trays, pots and many more.

RDM MEDeSEAL manufactures Heat Sealers for medical packaging, typically used in clean / sterile applications where manual loading of packs is performed, using pack formats such as pouches, trays and blisters.

RDM TestLab is the largest Test House in the UK for Permeation Barrier Testing, complemented with a wide range of Physical Testing equipment for flexible materials and packages.

RDM Education specialises in planning and delivery of high-level Materials and Package Testing education. Our venues include UK Universities, IOM3 / IOP, and on-site with customers.
