Founded in 1985 by David Murrell and Michael James, both graduate Mechanical and Electrical Engineers from the Middlesex and Essex Universities respectively. Their desire with RDM Test Equipment was to design, develop and supply quality control solutions to the flexible packaging industry.

Focusing on measuring physical properties of packaging materials such as heat sealability, seal/peel strength, coefficient of friction or slip and thickness measurement whether it be from our standard product line or specialised machinery, we endeavour to meet and satisfy our customers needs to the highest degree.
